Fans at Wednesday's league contest between the Grundy Golden Wave (Grundy, VA) and the visiting Twin Valley Panthers (Pilgrims Knob, VA), observed Grundy's volleyball team top Twin Valley by a tally of 3-0.
The Golden Wave (12-4) will now prepare for their contest against Council (Council, VA). The Cobras enter the Black Diamond contest with a 1-7 record. In their last contest, Council beat Hurley (Hurley, VA), 3-2, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Panthers encounter the Council Cobras (Council, VA) in a Black Diamond test, on Tuesday, September 30. Twin Valley will attempt to improve on its 0-4 season record. The Cobras go into the test with a 1-8 record after their 3-0 league loss to Grundy (Grundy, VA).
