In Wednesday's league match, the Halifax Academy Vikings (Roanoke Rapids, NC) volleyball squad overcame the visiting Ridgecroft Rams (Ahoskie, NC), by a count of 3-0.

The Vikings now possess a 13-5 record. They play next when they travel to Kerr-Vance Academy for a NCISAA Tarheel Independent battle on Tuesday, September 30. Halifax Academy will encounter a Spartans squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Lawrence Academy (Merry Hill, NC). The Spartans record now stands at 5-12.

The Rams now own a 12-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Southampton for a non-league battle on Monday, September 29. Ridgecroft will encounter a Indians squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Surry County (Dendron, VA). The Indians record now stands at 6-4.
