Lewis Mills Spartans (Burlington, CT) backers were pleased Wednesday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the visiting Tolland Eagles (Tolland, CT), 3-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Spartans (2-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Bristol Central (Bristol, CT). The Rams come into the Central Connecticut - West challenge with a 6-3 record. In their last challenge, Bristol Central beat Bristol Eastern (Bristol, CT), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Eagles play the Enfield Eagles (Enfield, CT) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, September 29. Tolland will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 2-8 record after their 3-0 league win over East Catholic (Manchester, CT).
