The crowd at Wednesday's non-league battle between the Westford Academy Grey Ghosts (Westford, MA) and the visiting Lowell Red Raiders (Lowell, MA), observed Westford Academy's volleyball team top Lowell by a count of 3-0.

The Grey Ghosts (7-0) will now prepare for their contest against Wayland (Wayland, MA). The Warriors go into the Dual County battle with a 3-1 record. In their last battle, Wayland achieved victory over Weston (Weston, MA), 3-2, in a league battle.

The Red Raiders now own a 6-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Andover for a Merrimack Valley I battle on Friday, September 26. Lowell will encounter a Golden Warriors squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Methuen (Methuen, MA). The Golden Warriors record now stands at 7-2.
