In Wednesday's league challenge, the host Pacific Grove Breakers volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Santa Catalina Cougars.

The Breakers (10-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Monte Vista Christian (Watsonville, CA). The Mustangs come into the Pacific Coast - Gabilan challenge with a 4-7 record.

In their next game, the Cougars face the Palma Chieftains (Salinas, CA) in a test, on Friday, September 26. Santa Catalina will attempt to improve on its 3-4 season record. The Chieftains go into the test with a 8-4 record after their 3-1 league loss to Salinas (Salinas, CA).
