Smith Valley Bulldogs (Smith, NV) boosters left the game thrilled Wednesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Sage Ridge Scorpions (Reno, NV), 3-0 in a league challenge.
The Bulldogs (6-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Sierra Sage Academy/Right Of Passage (Yerington, NV). The Rams enter the 1A Western challenge with a 0-7 record.
Next, the Scorpions meet the enCompass Academy Explorers (Reno, NV) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 25. Sage Ridge will attempt to upgrade on its 2-3 season record. The Explorers enter the challenge with a 0-2 record after their 0-0 non-league Sierra Lutheran (Carson City, NV).
