The Salem Witches prevailed the visiting Winthrop Vikings volleyball squad by a final score of 3-0 in Wednesday's league game.

Coming up next, the Witches clash with the Pioneer Charter School of Science Panthers (Everett, MA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, September 26. Salem will attempt to better on its 5-4 season record. The Panthers come into the bout with a 4-6 record after their 3-1 league loss to Pioneer Charter School of Science II (Saugus, MA).

With the loss, Winthrop drops to 1-7 on the campaign. The Vikings host Stoneham (Stoneham, MA) to confront the Spartans in a non-league match on Saturday, September 27. The Spartans enter the match with a record of 3-5. Stoneham lost 3-0 in their recent league match against Melrose (Melrose, MA)
