In Wednesday's league challenge, the visiting Stevenson Pirates volleyball team scored a close 3-2 win over the Watsonville Wildcatz.

With the win, Stevenson advances its record to 3-3 on the season. The Pirates host Castilleja (Palo Alto, CA) to face the Gators in a non-league test on Saturday, September 27. The Gators go into the test with a record of 2-4. Castilleja lost 3-2 in their recent non-league test against International (San Francisco, CA)

The Wildcatz now have a 3-7 record. They play next when they host Alisal for a Pacific Coast - Mission outing on Friday, September 26. Watsonville will play a Trojans team coming off a 3-0 league win over Greenfield (Greenfield, CA). The Trojans record now stands at 5-5.
