In Monday's non-league match, the host McEwen Warriors football squad scored a close 22-16 victory over the Houston County Fighting Irish.
In their next game, the Warriors clash with the Camden Central Lions (Camden, TN) in a non-league match, on Monday, October 9. McEwen will attempt to move on its 2-0 season record.
The Fighting Irish (0-2) will now prepare for their match against Stewart County (Dover, TN). The Rebels enter the non-league match with a 1-0 record.
