The North Lenoir Hawks topped the host Greene Central Rams volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Monday's non-league test.
The Hawks now have a 8-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Kinston for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 26. North Lenoir will confront a Vikings team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Wallace-Rose Hill (Teachey, NC). The Vikings record now stands at 0-7.
The Rams (3-9) will now prepare for their test against SouthWest Edgecombe (Pinetops, NC). The Cougars enter the non-league test with a 4-10 record. In their last test, SouthWest Edgecombe was knocked off by Northern Nash (Rocky Mount, NC), 2-0, in a non-league test.
