The Bishop McGuinness Villains soccer team scored 6 points and limited the host Bethany Wolves to 0 in the Villains league victory on Monday.
Next, the Villains face the Piedmont Classical Bobcats (Browns Summit, NC) in a Northwest Piedmont 1A contest, on Tuesday, September 26. Bishop McGuinness will attempt to better on its 4-7 season record. The Bobcats enter the contest with a 0-4 record after their 5-2 league loss to Cornerstone Charter (Greensboro, NC).
The Wolves now have a 5-6 record. They take the field next when they host Leadership Academy for a Northwest Piedmont 1A contest on Tuesday, September 26. Bethany will face a Falcons team coming off a 7-1 league loss to Carver (Winston-Salem, NC). The Falcons record now stands at 8-3.
