The Patriots now have a 7-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to East Mecklenburg for a Southwestern 4A challenge on Tuesday, September 26. Independence will confront a Eagles team coming off a 1-0 league win over Butler (Matthews, NC). The Eagles record now stands at 5-5.
