The crowd at Monday's league test between the South Stokes Sauras (Walnut Cove, NC) and the visiting North Stokes Vikings (Danbury, NC), saw South Stokes's soccer squad knock off North Stokes by a count of 4-2.

The Sauras now hold a 4-3 record. They play next when they host Elkin for a Northwest 1A test on Wednesday, September 27. South Stokes will meet a Buckin' Elks squad coming off a 4-0 league loss to Mount Airy (Mount Airy, NC). The Buckin' Elks record now stands at 8-2.

With the loss, North Stokes drops to 1-6 on the season. The Vikings host Starmount (Boonville, NC) to meet the Rams in a Northwest 1A test on Wednesday, October 4. The Rams come into the test with a record of 6-6. Starmount won 3-0 in their recent league test against East Wilkes (Ronda, NC)
