The crowd at Monday's non-league bout between the Ben L. Smith Golden Eagles (Greensboro, NC) and the visiting College Prep & Leadership Academy Royals (Jamestown, NC), saw Ben L. Smith's volleyball squad beat College Prep & Leadership Academy by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, Ben L. Smith upgrades its record to 9-6 on the year. The Golden Eagles travel to Rockingham County (Wentworth, NC) to play the Cougars in a Mid-State 3A bout on Tuesday, September 26. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 11-4. Rockingham County won 3-0 in their recent league bout against Southern Guilford (Greensboro, NC)

The Royals now own a 4-9 record. They play next when they host Bethany for a Northwest Piedmont 1A bout on Wednesday, September 27.
