Alabama High School Volleyball - Benjamin Russell over Fayetteville

In Monday's non-league contest, the Benjamin Russell Wildcats (Alexander City, AL) volleyball squad knocked off the visiting Fayetteville Wolves (Sylacauga, AL), by a margin of 3-1.

Next up, the Wildcats battle the Chilton County Tigers (Clanton, AL) in a 6A Area 5 contest, on Tuesday, September 26. Benjamin Russell will attempt to better on its 2-11 season record. The Tigers come into the contest with a 10-8 record after their 3-2 non-league loss to Stanhope Elmore (Millbrook, AL).

With the loss, Fayetteville drops to 19-9 on the campaign. The Wolves travel to Isabella (Maplesville, AL) to battle the Mustangs in a 2A Area 8 contest on Tuesday, September 26. The Mustangs come into the contest with a record of 13-7. Isabella won 3-1 in their recent non-league contest against Marbury (Marbury, AL)
