North Carolina High School Volleyball - Burns over Bessemer City

The Burns Bulldogs (Lawndale, NC) volleyball overcame the host Bessemer City Yellow Jackets (Bessemer City, NC), 3-0 in Monday's league outing.

With the win, Burns upgrades its record to 5-10 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to Highland Tech (Gastonia, NC) to play the Rams in a Southern Piedmont 1A/2A outing on Tuesday, September 26. The Rams go into the outing with a record of 16-0. Highland Tech won 3-0 in their recent league outing against Thomas Jefferson (Mooresboro, NC)

The Yellow Jackets now own a 0-13 record. They play next when they host Thomas Jefferson for a Southern Piedmont 1A/2A outing on Tuesday, September 26. Bessemer City will play a Gryphons squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Highland Tech (Gastonia, NC). The Gryphons record now stands at 4-10.
