The Marengo Indians (Marengo, IL) volleyball overcame the host Byron Tigers (Byron, IL), 2-0 in Monday's non-league outing.
With the win, Marengo upgrades its record to 12-10 on the year. The Indians host Woodstock (Woodstock, IL) to play the Blue Streaks in a Kishwaukee River outing on Wednesday, September 27. The Blue Streaks go into the outing with a record of 16-7. Woodstock won 2-0 in their recent league outing against Harvard (Harvard, IL)
The Tigers now own a 3-12 record. They play next when they travel to Rockford Christian for a Big Northern outing on Tuesday, September 26. Byron will play a Royal Lions squad coming off a 2-0 league win over Dixon (Dixon, IL). The Royal Lions record now stands at 14-4.
