The Carson Cougars volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host East Rowan Mustangs to 1 in the Cougars league victory on Monday.

The Cougars now possess a 10-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host South Rowan for a South Piedmont 3A game on Wednesday, September 27. Carson will meet a Raiders team coming off a 3-0 league loss to West Rowan (Mt. Ulla, NC). The Raiders record now stands at 14-5.

The Mustangs (7-9) will now prepare for their game against Concord (Concord, NC). The Spiders enter the South Piedmont 3A game with a 2-12 record. In their last game, Concord was dropped by Robinson (Concord, NC), 3-0, in a league game.
