The York Cougars (York, SC) volleyball overcame the host Chester Cyclones (Chester, SC), 3-0 in Monday's non-league outing.
With the win, York upgrades its record to 9-3 on the year. The Cougars travel to Catawba Ridge (Fort Mill, SC) to face the Copperheads in a AAAA Region 3 outing on Tuesday, September 26. The Copperheads go into the outing with a record of 8-5. Catawba Ridge won 3-0 in their recent league outing against South Pointe (Rock Hill, SC)
The Cyclones now own a 4-9 record. They play next when they travel to Woodruff for a AAA Region 4 outing on Tuesday, September 26. Chester will face a Wolverines squad coming off a 3-1 league loss to Union County (Union, SC). The Wolverines record now stands at 7-13.
