The crowd at Monday's non-league bout between the Franklinton Demons (Franklinton, LA) and the host Independence Tigers (Independence, LA), saw Franklinton's volleyball squad beat Independence by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, Franklinton upgrades its record to 4-4 on the year. The Demons travel to Christ Episcopal School (Covington, LA) to play the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Thursday, September 28. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 9-7.

The Tigers now own a 0-2 record. They play next when they travel to Springfield for a Division IV District 4 bout on Tuesday, September 26.
