The Wicksburg Panthers volleyball team (Newton, AL), went down 3-1 in Monday's non-league challenge with the host Geneva Panthers (Geneva, AL)

The Panthers (13-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Andalusia (Andalusia, AL). The Bulldogs enter the 4A Area 3 challenge with a 5-14 record. In their last challenge, Andalusia went down by T.R. Miller (Brewton, AL), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Panthers encounter the Cottonwood Bears (Cottonwood, AL) in a 2A Area 2 challenge, on Thursday, September 28. Wicksburg will attempt to move on its 6-8 season record. The Bears enter the challenge with a 5-4 record after their 3-2 league win over Samson (Samson, AL).
