With the win, Gordo upgrades its record to 2-6 on the year. The Green Wave travel to Central (Tuscaloosa, AL) to face the Falcons in a non-league outing on Wednesday, September 27. The Falcons go into the outing with a record of 4-13. Central lost 3-0 in their recent league outing against Northridge (Tuscaloosa, AL)

The Tornadoes now own a 5-9 record. They play next when they host South Lamar for a 1A Area 9 outing on Tuesday, September 26. Pickens County will face a Stallions squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Lamar County (Vernon, AL). The Stallions record now stands at 15-8.
