North Carolina High School Volleyball - R.J. Reynolds over High Point Central

September 25, 2023: High Point, NC 27262

The crowd at Monday's non-league bout between the R.J. Reynolds Demons (Winston-Salem, NC) and the host High Point Central Bison (High Point, NC), saw R.J. Reynolds's volleyball squad beat High Point Central by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, R.J. Reynolds upgrades its record to 9-6 on the year. The Demons host Mount Tabor (Winston-Salem, NC) to play the Spartans in a Central Piedmont 4A bout on Tuesday, September 26. The Spartans go into the bout with a record of 3-8. Mount Tabor lost 3-0 in their recent league bout against West Forsyth (Clemmons, NC)

The Bison now own a 4-12 record. They play next when they host Eastern Guilford for a Mid-State 3A bout on Wednesday, September 27. High Point Central will play a Wildcats squad coming off a 3-1 league win over Northeast Guilford (McLeansville, NC). The Wildcats record now stands at 7-7.
