In Monday's non-league battle, the visiting West Stokes Wildcats volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the North Stokes Vikings.

The Wildcats (12-2) will now prepare for their battle against North Forsyth (Winston-Salem, NC). The Vikings come into the Mid-State 2A battle with a 0-11 record. In their last battle, North Forsyth went down by McMichael (Mayodan, NC), 3-0, in a league battle.

Next, the Vikings encounter the Starmount Rams (Boonville, NC) in a Northwest 1A battle, on Tuesday, September 26. North Stokes will attempt to move on its 6-8 season record. The Rams come into the battle with a 1-12 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Forbush (East Bend, NC).
