In Monday's non-league battle, the visiting Perry County Central Commodores volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Owsley County Owls / Lady Owls.

The Commodores (16-6) will now prepare for their battle against Leslie County (Hyden, KY). The Eagles come into the District 54 battle with a 15-11 record. In their last battle, Leslie County achieved victory over Harlan County (Harlan, KY), 3-1, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Owls / Lady Owls clash with the Powell County Pirates (Stanton, KY) in a District 56 battle, on Tuesday, September 26. Owsley County will attempt to advance on its 6-12 season record.
