The crowd at Monday's league bout between the Westwood Rebels (Sloan, IA) and the host River Valley Wolverines (Correctionville, IA), saw Westwood's volleyball squad beat River Valley by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, Westwood upgrades its record to 13-5 on the year. The Rebels travel to Atlantic (Atlantic, IA) to play the Trojans in a non-league bout on Saturday, September 30. The Trojans go into the bout with a record of 6-17. Atlantic lost 3-1 in their recent league bout against Harlan (Harlan, IA)

The Wolverines now own a 12-5 record. They play next when they travel to Kingsley-Pierson for a Western Valley - North bout on Thursday, September 28. River Valley will play a Panthers squad coming off a 2-0 league loss to West Monona (Onawa, IA). The Panthers record now stands at 3-14.
