In their next game, the Panthers play the Foothill Mustangs (Sacramento, CA) in a Greater Sacramento League challenge, on Thursday, September 26. Florin will attempt to improve on its 5-6 season record. The Mustangs go into the challenge with a 2-10 record after their 33-12 league loss to Johnson (Sacramento, CA).

The Thundering Herd (0-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Monterey Trail (Elk Grove, CA). The Mustangs go into the Delta League challenge with a 2-3 record. In their last challenge, Monterey Trail was dropped by Pleasant Grove (Elk Grove, CA), 39-6, in a league challenge.
