The Franklin Panthers got by the visiting University Wildcats flag football team by a score of 27-20 in Wednesday's non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Panthers face the Lincoln Tigers (Los Angeles, CA) in a Northern challenge, on Monday, September 30. Franklin will attempt to improve on its 9-3 season record. The Tigers go into the challenge with a 0-2 record after their 36-0 non-league loss to Huntington Park (Huntington Park, CA).
The Wildcats (1-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Hamilton (Los Angeles, CA). The Yankees go into the Western challenge with a 2-5 record. In their last challenge, Hamilton was edged by Serra (Gardena, CA), 30-0, in a non-league challenge.
