Cumberland Valley Eagles (Mechanicsburg, PA) backers exited the stadium pleased Wednesday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the host Carlisle Thundering Herd (Carlisle, PA), 3-0 in a league test.

With the triumph, Cumberland Valley advances its record to 9-4 on the campaign. The Eagles host Central Dauphin (Harrisburg, PA) to clash with the Rams in a Mid-Penn - Commonwealth test on Monday, September 30. The Rams come into the test with a record of 10-0. Central Dauphin won 12-0 in their recent league test against State College (State College, PA)

The Thundering Herd now have a 3-10 record. They take the field next when they host Red Lion for a non-league test on Friday, September 27. Carlisle will clash with a Lions team coming off a 13-1 league win over William Penn (York, PA). The Lions record now stands at 3-7.
