Fans at Wednesday's league battle between the Plattsburgh Hornets (Plattsburgh, NY) and the visiting Northeastern Clinton Cougars (Champlain, NY), saw Plattsburgh's soccer squad knock off Northeastern Clinton by a count of 4-1.

The Hornets (6-1) will now prepare for their battle against AuSable Valley (Clintonville, NY). The Patriots enter the Northern battle with a 3-4 record. In their last battle, AuSable Valley by Peru (Peru, NY), 4-1, in a league battle.

Next up, the Cougars battle the Saranac Spartans (Saranac, NY) in a Northern battle, on Friday, September 27. Northeastern Clinton will attempt to upgrade on its 2-4 season record. The Spartans enter the battle with a 4-1 record after their 5-0 league loss to Beekmantown (Plattsburgh, NY).
