The East Providence Townies volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the visiting Cranston West Falcons to 0 in the Townies non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Townies now possess a 7-0 record. They play next when they travel to La Salle Academy for a non-league outing on Tuesday, October 1. East Providence will clash with a Rams team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Prout (Wakefield, RI). The Rams record now stands at 7-1.

With the loss, Cranston West drops to 4-3 on the campaign. The Falcons host Barrington (Barrington, RI) to clash with the Eagles in a non-league outing on Monday, September 30. The Eagles come into the outing with a record of 5-2. Barrington won 2-0 in their recent non-league outing against Cumberland (Cumberland, RI)
