With the win, Smoky Mountain improves its record to 8-9 on the season. The Mustangs host East Henderson (East Flat Rock, NC) to encounter the Eagles in a battle on Monday, September 30. The Eagles go into the battle with a record of 1-12. East Henderson lost 2-0 in their recent non-league battle against West Henderson (Hendersonville, NC)

The Highlanders now own a 2-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Rosman for a non-league battle on Wednesday, October 2.
