Virginia High School Volleyball - Nansemond River can't get by Western Branch

Western Branch Bruins (Chesapeake, VA) followers left the game satisfied Wednesday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the visiting Nansemond River Warriors (Suffolk, VA), 2-1 in a league test.

With the win, Western Branch advances its record to 6-3 on the season. The Bruins travel to Indian River (Chesapeake, VA) to face the Braves in a test on Wednesday, October 2. The Braves go into the test with a record of 3-4.

The Warriors now sport a 5-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Great Bridge for a non-league test on Wednesday, October 2. Nansemond River will face a Wildcats squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Hickory (Chesapeake, VA). The Wildcats record now stands at 4-4.
