In Wednesday's league contest, the Western Alamance Warriors (Elon, NC) soccer team routed the visiting Cedar Ridge Fighting Red Wolves (Hillsborough, NC), by a count of 6-0.
Next, the Warriors battle the Person Rockets (Roxboro, NC) in a Central 3A contest, on Monday, September 30. Western Alamance will attempt to upgrade on its 11-1 season record. The Rockets enter the contest with a 1-2 record after their 9-0 league loss to Orange (Hillsborough, NC).
The Fighting Red Wolves (3-4) will now prepare for their contest against Williams (Burlington, NC). The Bulldogs enter the Central 3A contest with a 8-5 record. In their last contest, Williams held off McMichael (Mayodan, NC), 3-1, in a non-league contest.
