The Bears (4-5) will now prepare for their outing against Seventy-First (Fayetteville, NC). The Falcons go into the United Eight 3A/4A outing with a 3-7 record. In their last outing, Seventy-First was edged by South View (Hope Mills, NC), 5-3, in a league outing.

Next up, the Rams play the Red Springs Red Devils (Red Springs, NC) in a non-league outing, on Saturday, September 28. Purnell Swett will attempt to improve on its 4-7 season record. The Red Devils go into the outing with a 3-4 record after their 7-6 non-league win over Seventy-First (Fayetteville, NC).
