Fans at Wednesday's league battle between the Portledge Panthers (Locust Valley, NY) and the visiting Lexington School for the Deaf Blue Jays (Jackson Heights, NY), saw Portledge's soccer squad prevail over Lexington School for the Deaf by a count of 4-0.
The Panthers (1-2) will now prepare for their battle against Rye Country Day (Rye, NY). The Wildcats enter the non-league battle with a 3-3 record. In their last battle, Rye Country Day Fieldston (Bronx, NY), 0-0, in a non-league battle.
