Marengo Indians (Marengo, IL) backers exited the stadium pleased Wednesday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the host Sandwich Indians (Sandwich, IL), 8-3 in a league test.

With the triumph, Marengo advances its record to 7-8 on the campaign. The Indians host Genoa-Kingston (Genoa, IL) to clash with the Cogs in a non-league test on Thursday, October 3. The Cogs come into the test with a record of 7-5.

The Indians now have a 1-11 record. They take the field next when they travel to Serena for a non-league test on Friday, September 27. Sandwich will clash with a Huskers team coming off a 0-0 league Earlville (Earlville, IL). The Huskers record now stands at 4-8.
