The Union Academy Cardinals smashed the host Mount Pleasant Tigers soccer team by a tally of 5-0 in Wednesday's league game.
Next, the Cardinals clash with the Albemarle Bulldogs (Albemarle, NC) in a Yadkin Valley 1A/2A game, on Monday, September 30. Union Academy will attempt to advance on its 7-4 season record. The Bulldogs come into the game with a 4-5 record after their 10-1 league win over North Stanly (New London, NC).
The Tigers (2-10) will now prepare for their game against South Stanly (Norwood, NC). The Rowdy Rebel Bulls come into the Yadkin Valley 1A/2A game with a 2-6 record. In their last game, South Stanly was overwhelmed by Gray Stone Day (Misenheimer, NC), 9-0, in a league game.
