Pennsylvania High School Soccer - Wellsboro knocks off North Penn-Liberty

September 25, 2024: Wellsboro, PA 16901

In Wednesday's league outing, the host Wellsboro Hornets soccer squad scored a tight 6-2 victory over the North Penn-Liberty Mountie.

The Hornets (10-2) will now prepare for their outing against Towanda (Towanda, PA). The Black Knights go into the North Tier outing with a 5-5 record. In their last outing, Towanda got by Northeast Bradford (Rome, PA), 3-2, in a non-league outing.

Next up, the Mountie confront the Williamson Warriors (Tioga, PA) in a North Tier outing, on Saturday, September 28. North Penn-Liberty will attempt to improve on its 6-5 season record. The Warriors go into the outing with a 9-2 record after their 3-0 league win over North Penn-Liberty (Liberty, PA).
