Fans at Wednesday's non-league battle between the Thomasville Bulldogs (Thomasville, NC) and the host Wheatmore Warriors (Trinity, NC), saw Thomasville's soccer squad triumph over Wheatmore by a count of 11-2.

The Bulldogs (6-5) will now prepare for their battle against East Davidson (Thomasville, NC). The Golden Eagles enter the Central Carolina 1A/2A battle with a 4-8 record. In their last battle, East Davidson notched a victory over South Davidson (Denton, NC), 9-0, in a league battle.

Next up, the Warriors battle the Southwestern Randolph Cougars (Asheboro, NC) in a Piedmont Athletic 1A/2A battle, on Monday, September 30. Wheatmore will attempt to upgrade on its 3-10 season record. The Cougars enter the battle with a 11-0 record after their 2-1 league win over Randleman (Randleman, NC).
