Georgia High School Softball - Turner County succumbs to Charlton County

September 25, 2024: Ashburn, GA 31714

In Wednesday's league test, the Charlton County Indians (Folkston, GA) softball squad overwhelmed the host Turner County Titans (Ashburn, GA), by a tally of 15-0.

Next, the Indians meet the Irwin County Indians (Ocilla, GA) in a 1A D-II Region 2 test, on Tuesday, October 1. Charlton County will attempt to advance on its 10-9 season record. The Indians go into the test with a 13-3 record after their 14-2 league win over Echols County (Statenville, GA).

The Titans (0-12) will now prepare for their test against Clinch County (Homerville, GA). The Panthers go into the 1A D-II Region 2 test with a 12-7 record. In their last test, Clinch County prevailed over Brooks County (Quitman, GA), 16-15, in a league test.
