In Wednesday's league test, the Pierce County Bears (Blackshear, GA) softball squad overwhelmed the host Crisp County Cougars (Cordele, GA), by a tally of 13-5.

Next, the Bears clash with the Cook Hornets (Adel, GA) in a 2A Region 3 test, on Tuesday, October 1. Pierce County will attempt to advance on its 10-9 season record.

The Cougars (5-10) will now prepare for their test against Worth County (Sylvester, GA). The Rams go into the non-league test with a 8-13 record. In their last test, Worth County was routed by Cook (Adel, GA), 9-1, in a non-league test.
