North Carolina High School Volleyball - Watauga overwhelmed by Ashe County

September 25, 2024: West Jefferson, NC 28694

The Ashe County Huskies topped the visiting Watauga Pioneers volleyball squad by a final score of 3-0 in Wednesday's league game.

Next up, the Huskies confront the West Henderson Falcons (Hendersonville, NC) in a non-league game, on Saturday, September 28. Ashe County will attempt to advance on its 15-1 season record. The Falcons go into the game with a 18-2 record after their 3-0 league win over Pisgah (Canton, NC).

The Pioneers (7-7) will now prepare for their game against South Caldwell (Hudson, NC). The Spartans go into the Northwestern 3A/4A game with a 10-6 record. In their last game, South Caldwell gained a win over Hibriten (Lenoir, NC), 3-1, in a league game.
