In Wednesday's league challenge, the host Hollywood Sheiks volleyball team scored a 3-1 victory over the Belmont Sentinels.

The Sheiks (8-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Contreras (Los Angeles, CA). The Cobras enter the Central challenge with a 5-5 record. In their last challenge, Contreras was beaten by Bernstein (Hollywood, CA), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Sentinels meet the Robert F. Kennedy Community Bobcats (Los Angeles, CA) in a Central challenge, on Monday, September 30. Belmont will attempt to upgrade on its 3-9 season record. The Bobcats enter the challenge with a 2-6 record after their 3-1 league loss to Hollywood (Los Angeles, CA).
