Corbett Cardinals (Corbett, OR) boosters left the game thrilled Wednesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Yamhill-Carlton Tigers (Yamhill, OR), 3-0 in a league test.

With the win, Corbett improves its record to 9-1 on the season. The Cardinals travel to Neah-Kah-Nie (Rockaway Beach, OR) to face the Pirates in a 3A Coastal Range test on Monday, September 30. The Pirates go into the test with a record of 1-8. Neah-Kah-Nie lost 3-2 in their recent league test against Rainier (Rainier, OR)

The Tigers now own a 7-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Amity for a non-league test on Saturday, September 28.
