North Carolina High School Volleyball - Foard overwhelmed by Hickory

The Hickory Red Tornadoes topped the visiting Foard Tigers volleyball squad by a final score of 3-0 in Wednesday's league game.

Next up, the Red Tornadoes confront the Cherokee Braves (Cherokee, NC) in a non-league game, on Friday, September 27. Hickory will attempt to advance on its 14-2 season record. The Braves go into the game with a 15-1 record after their 3-0 league win over Robbinsville (Robbinsville, NC).

The Tigers (9-13) will now prepare for their game against St. Stephens (Hickory, NC). The Indians go into the Western Foothills 3A game with a 8-7 record. In their last game, St. Stephens gained a win over Statesville (Statesville, NC), 3-0, in a league game.
