In Wednesday's league challenge, the host Traverse City West Titans volleyball team scored a 3-0 victory over the Gaylord Blue Devils.

The Titans (10-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Shepherd (Shepherd, MI). The Bluejays enter the non-league challenge with a 10-3 record. In their last challenge, Shepherd beat Ogemaw Heights (West Branch, MI), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Blue Devils meet the Petoskey Northmen (Petoskey, MI) in a Big North challenge, on Wednesday, October 2. Gaylord will attempt to upgrade on its 16-7 season record. The Northmen enter the challenge with a 9-5 record after their 3-2 league loss to Traverse City Central (Traverse City, MI).
