The Washingtonville Wizards volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the visiting Middletown Middie Bears to 0 in the Wizards non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Wizards now have a 3-8 record. They play next when they travel to Warwick for a Section 9 Orange County II outing on Friday, September 27. Washingtonville will play a Wildcats team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Valley Central (Montgomery, NY). The Wildcats record now stands at 6-7.

With the loss, Middletown drops to 1-10 on the campaign. The Middie bears travel to Monroe-Woodbury (Central Valley, NY) to play the Crusaders in a Section 9 Orange County I outing on Friday, September 27. The Crusaders come into the outing with a record of 6-0. Monroe-Woodbury won 3-0 in their recent league outing against Newburgh Free Academy (Newburgh, NY)
