New York High School Volleyball - St. Mary's over Nichols

Fans at Wednesday's league contest between the St. Mary's Lancers (Lancaster, NY) and the visiting Nichols Vikings (Buffalo, NY), observed St. Mary's's volleyball team top Nichols by a count of 3-0.

The Lancers (19-0) will now prepare for their contest against Sacred Heart Academy (Buffalo, NY). The Sharks enter the Monsignor Martin contest with a 6-0 record. In their last contest, Sacred Heart Academy notched a victory over Cardinal O'Hara (Tonawanda, NY), 3-0, in a league contest.

Next, the Vikings meet the Cathedral Prep Ramblers (Erie, PA) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, September 28. Nichols will attempt to move on its 1-2 season record. The Ramblers enter the contest with a 7-9 record after their 3-0 league win over Union City (Union City, PA).
