With the win, St. Edmund improves its record to 8-4 on the season. The Fighting Blue Jays host Eunice (Eunice, LA) to face the Bobcats in a non-league test on Saturday, September 28. The Bobcats go into the test with a record of 10-2.

The Tigers now own a 2-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Port Barre for a non-league test on Monday, September 30. Opelousas will face a Red Devils squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Eunice (Eunice, LA). The Red Devils record now stands at 8-6.
